Ho-Oh is my forever keycap
Keyboards come and go but this Ho-Oh moves with me to every new build. Its been on 3 keyboards now and its the one thing I never change. Legendary status, literally.
Ho-Oh at golden hour
Discovered that late afternoon sunlight hitting the Ho-Oh through my window creates actual rainbow reflections on my desk from the feather pigments. Unintentional but incredible.
Ho-Oh under new lighting
Moved desks at work and the new angle of sunlight hits the Ho-Oh differently. The gold in the feathers catches natural light in a way I never noticed before. Still discovering new details.
Showed it to a painter friend
She does miniature painting and even she was impressed by the Ho-Oh feather detail at this scale. Said the color blending on the tail is remarkably clean. That means a lot coming from her.

Stunning Ho-Oh
Not gonna lie the price stung a bit for a single keycap, but Ho-Oh is my favorite legendary and the quality is museum-worthy. The feather paintwork alone justifies it.

Legendary for a reason
The feather detail on Ho-Oh is visible even at this scale. Each wing feather is individually sculpted. With warm backlighting it looks like Sacred Fire. This is art.
Ho-Oh is breathtaking
This is the most beautiful keycap I've ever seen. Ho-Oh with wings spread, the gradient from red to gold matching the rainbow pokemon's actual colors. Sacred fire energy in resin form.
